FREE service to
all new mothers in Hardin County. This program was devised to help all
new mothers with any questions they might have once they bring their
baby home. The Welcome Baby Program provides:
Free in home visits from a Greenbelt Home
Care Maternal Health Nurse
Nurse will assess the health of you and your
baby
Nurse will weigh your baby
Nurse will assist with breastfeeding
Information on programs that provide
financial assistance, lead screenings, and immunizations
All moms will receive a Welcome Baby gift
basket
Resources and referrals to other agencies
and providers in the Hardin County area, and around the state of Iowa.
